On February 20, 2020, in Vienna, within the framework of the visit of the delegation of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Austria, the Slovak Republic, and the Republic of Serbia, a meeting between Mr. A.L. Kudrin, Chair of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation, and Mrs. M. Kraker, Secretary General of INTOSAI was held.

On February 13, 2020, the INTOSAI General Secretariat held a coordination meeting attended by representatives of the most important global INTOSAI players involved in the SDG implementation process. The Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation was represented by Mr. Dmitry Zaitsev, an auditor of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation, and Mr. Timur Makhmutov, Director of the International and Regional Cooperation Department.

In December 2019, the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation took part in the International Annual Conference for Integrity “Detection of Corruption: Mechanisms and Strategies for Action” held in Peru.

The First EUROSAI–AFROSAI Joint Seminar titled “Sharing Knowledge in Auditing for Sustainable Development Goals: a View from Different Regions” took place in Lisbon on November 21-22, 2019. More than 150 representatives of the Supreme Audit Institutions of Europe and Africa, as well as several international organizations, participated in the event.

The 8th Conference of the State Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption held in Abu Dhabi (UAE) on 16-20 December 2019 saw the issuance of the Declaration on enhancing cooperation between the supreme audit institutions and anti-corruption bodies to more effectively prevent and fight corruption (the Abu Dhabi Declaration).

On March 3 Prague is hosting the First International Hackathon* of the European Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (EUROSAI). It will be attended by teams of supreme audit institutions from 25 European countries, including Russia. They will have three days to share best practices and complete tasks in creating software and visual solutions that increase the efficiency of SAIs and streamline the work of state auditors. In addition, some of the tasks pertain to the issues of comparison and collation of audit results from various countries based on different standards.
